John Christou

John Christou is a producer with close to a dozen productions under his belt.  As the owner of Prospector Films and Chair of the National Board of the Documentary Organization of Canada, he is a skilled mutli-tasker. He’s won awards, most notably a Genie for Up The Yangtze!  He produced the TIFF Top Ten short The Colony. His first two releases through his new company are the web series Les Grands Penseurs for TV5.ca and the short film File Under Miscellaneous for BravoFact. He’s currently working on a half-dozen projects in various stages, including the feature films Blood Quantum & Breaking the Band, the documentaries The United States of Africa, WaveMakers & Towards the End of Time and the web project SnackerTV.ca.
